Stop!!!! It's danny time.

Well you don't hear from me often, and i am sorry i have no supercute pictures, videos, or even a drawing. just wanted to update the blog. (i am sick and tired of material science and need a break, plus it needs to be done.) well, lilly is doing great her last dr. visit she had gained a pound and a half up to 7lb 12oz. she sleeps pretty well for a newborn sometimes up to 5 hours at night. Jen is the best mom that has ever existed. not only is she a great mom she is the best wife anyone could ask for. while i am spending 10-12 hours a day on campus, she is taking care of three kids(a six yr old, 3 yr old, and a three week old) and she still manages to look like a million bucks when i get home to a hot dinner. hands down she would kill even june cleaver in a mom/wife off competition. kadee is doing reall well in the first grade and loves it. Jen helps her with her homework everyday after school. kambrie has started preschool (tuesdays and thursdays 9:30-12) and loves that she gets to go to school too. we are not sure if she likes school more or the fact that she gets to eat lunch there, which is amazing to us becasue she is still struggling with the eating thing at home. so is short we are doing really well. love my wife, love my kids, and hey i even started spelling my name correctly which is always a plus.
lets all be nice and then we get treats.

SHE'S FINALLY HERE!!!

Miss Lillian Rose Aguirre was born on Sept 12, 2009 at 7:14 PM. She weighed in at 6lbs 4 oz. She is a tiny little thing and absolutely PERFECT! She has auburn hair and TONS of it. She has the longest fingers with totally manicured long nails, and the biggest feet and longest toes I have EVER seen on such a little thing. Definitely got that from her mom. She came out with a pouty bottom lip, just like Kambrie. She was so worth all of the puking, crying, sleepless nights, peeing, complaining, contractions, worry and uncomfortableness. I am totally in love with her. I feel so incredibly blessed.

On Friday the 11, we went to the dr for the second time in two days because he wanted to monitor my high blood pressure. When we got there on Friday morning, it was even higher than Wednesday and there was also protein in my urine, another sign of pre eclampsia. I had been having major vision issues since Saturday and frankly I was starting to get a little worried. When I heard the words of "bed rest" come out of the mouth of my OB... I burst into tears. Good heck, I was 38 weeks pregnant.. had been sent to the hospital I don't know how many times, and I was just ready to get this show on the road and get on with our lives. After telling him, I had two other children to take care of and it wasn't going to happen, and bawling my eyes out... he decided to call the high risk ob and get her opinion on the situation. She said, if she has protein, high blood pressure, vision issues, and is 38 weeks pregnant tomorrow, just get this over for her. INDUCE THAT WOMAN!!!
I was so grateful. Danny and I left for home to get all of our bags and drop Kam off to Nana. When we got to the hospital and checked in the nurse said to me, "You are here to be monitored for blood pressure and possibly be admitted correct?" I just looked at her and said, "I am NOT leaving, just so ya know." They all started laughing, but I was DEAD serious. Anyhow, they put us in our own room, which was good sign #1. We got all settled and they started to monitor me. Around 2:30, my bp reading was about 142/90 and then the next one it dropped to 99/55. Then the room started to spin and I knew I was about to loose what I had eaten for dinner the night before. Then... lights out. The next thing I knew, I was surrounded by nurses and being poked and prodded. They told me I just sealed the deal... I was not leaving without a baby.
That night at 10 pm they started cervadil and I started having contractions about 2 am. At 8 am they started pitocin. At noon I was in tears with pain. I asked for my epidural and he was in a c section so I had to wait almost an hour and a half... don't wait til you are at that point to ask for one... When I finally got it, man I was LOVING life. My dr broke my water and I progressed from a 2 to 7 by 4pm and to complete by 7 pm. We got my dr there and I was able to get ready to have her. I was so scared about the pushing part, having never done it before. On the first contraction all I remember was pushing with everything I had in me. The dr looked up and said, if you want any one else in here... they better come. This baby will be born on the next contraction... I WAS FLOORED!!!
All my family came in, which actually ended up being an awesome experience, and on contraction #2 Lilly was here. Three pushes... I couldn't believe it. It was so surreal and amazing.
I am so proud to be the wife of the most amazing man. He could not have been more supportive and more of a rock to me through all of this. He is the perfect person not only for me, but for the father of our 3 beautiful kids.
I am the most blessed woman and mother there is.

Kadee Lou is in the 1st grade!

Tuesday night we had back to school night. When we got our packet and headed towards Kadee's classroom I started to think, man, I can not believe she will be in school all day long. Is she really old enough for that?!? Well, it really hit when we walked into her classroom and met her teacher, Mrs. Loveless, and she showed Kadee where her desk would be. It is on the front row on the very end... and she even had a name tag on her desk. At that point, honestly, I was choking back the tears. It just seems unreal. Anyhow, today was the big day... last night she was so excited, she got back out of bed 3 times to ask me something about in the morning before school. It was so cute. This morning we had set our alarm at 7:20 to get her up and she was down to get us at 6:40... bed already made and all. She had that backpack on and ready to walk out the door at 8:15... we can't be there until 8:40. :) It was pretty cute. We all went to the school to drop her off and I stayed in the car with Kam while Danny walked her inside the fence. She just looked so big, yet too small, walking away towards the school for the WHOLE day! Danny got back in the car and was pretty quiet for a second. "do you think she will be ok? How sad. I just hope she has a good first day." It was so cute. I think it hit him pretty hard that his little girl is growing up. He missed all of that last year with being at work, so it was a whole new experience for him to drive away and leave her there. She came home today EXHAUSTED!!! She loved her first day, and her teacher and she even made a new best friend, although she can't remember her name... but she has stitches in her head. She thought the best part of the day was the lunch room... although I think she mostly visited cause she came back home with half of her lunch still in her lunch box... she was starving though, definitely got eaten when she walked through the door. I think that we won't have any problems crashing tonight and sleeping until she is woken up tomorrow morning by us. Congrats Kadee! We are so proud of you!

Weekly appt for baby Lillian

So, I went to the DR on Wednesday morning for my weekly appt. He said that the baby is looking good although my belly is measuring a week behind, still at 35 weeks. Which is where it has been for the last almost 2 weeks... humm... I have gained 2 lbs though so I know she is growing. He also checked me, now that we know the placenta has moved that is ok to do, and he said that despite being up all night Tuesday contracting every 7 minutes, there is no dialation. My cervix has started to soften though. Anyhow, he said that really she can come at anytime. I was still contracting while I was there and he told me that when they get to 5 minutes, to take myself to L and D! HELLO!!! I am going to do EVERYTHING in the book to get this business going! If I wasn't contracting so regularly I would not be so anxious but honestly, I can NOT do this for almost 4 weeks still. Last night and today has been much of the same. Contracting and timing... not turning into anything too much though. If anyone has any good tricks... LET ME KNOW!!
