As most of you know, I HATE the dentist. I would rather go to the gyno and get a pap smear that walk into that office that has "that" smell with the sound of the drill and the suction thing getting stuck to people's cheeks. I honestly was terrified. For Kam. She had to have two crowns and three fillings today. The pediadontist recommended that we do sedation with the little fart to have it all taken care of at once. I had a pep talk with her yesterday, told her everything that was going to take place. She didn't seem scared at all... as for mom, I was freaking out for her. We got there and she played and ran around so happy. They came and gave her a shot to make her sleepy so they could do the IV and she fought it for about 10 minutes... she was NOT giving into that medicine. (the kid after her was out in about 60 seconds). She was "under" in the procedure for about 75 minutes. She did so good and came out with two shiny silver teeth and a few fillings. She was hilarious while waking up. She was a little chatter box, but all the words were SO slow and so not making sense. On the way home in the car, Danny played the Ryan Shupe "corndog" song for her cause the kids love it... she tried with all of her might to sing along, but was about 5 seconds behind the whole time. It the middle she tried with all of her might to give me a YEE HAW! I got the giggles so bad. Had to be one of the funniest things she has ever done. Tonight, she is doing great. Had some mashed potatoes for dinner with some bread and watched a few cartoons... she is good to go... still a little unsteady on those feet, and saying some funny stuff, but much much better. As for me, I have made a big decision that the next time that I have to have dental work done, I am opting for the IV sedation as well. I want to wake up and have it all over too Kam. So proud of you sis. You are so brave! Alot more brave than mommy.Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-85617481457951492412010-05-24T19:47:00.000-07:002010-05-24T19:52:37.365-07:00How does a princess?<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGTHbN1kMPbPXhkCmVUq0Sx5en5FDPCYKb1Wud1ILdRgfLBwacKa-9O51-Z3nKaWaJzcHO7CwNeZn6B4FB5x2OK6L29yRaPDM-Vd0NbywLXHqCeMAtRQev0fGqIOKsrqINi0fKjMX6PvS6/s200/photo.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5475035078856611250" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXXBPvsVBpyqkaJCHHLYvLOEY5I1VsdxR99T7efp1sV2Iksk21vuy2BijiA3Rbx4pisOGe68XH3J_faCQxOMM2vqXh_DY6B_mpbFyqpHa6eW35CVfGCa1XWcT6V1F_gYU9qLtDmTZX-Fg5/s200/photo(2).jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5475035073102741330" />
Kambrie is obsessed with princesses. She is always asking, how do princesses... fill in the blank... It got so bad with the how do princesses get into the car? How do princesses brush their teeth? How do princesses get dressed? When at dinner one night we got the "how do princesses eat their dinner?" Our response was "PRINCESSES ARE JUST NORMAL PEOPLE!!!" It has kinda been a joke around here. The other morning I was getting ready and putting on my make-up. Kam was watching very intently. I told her that when I was finished, we would put some on her. After putting some blush, eye shadow and mascara on her she told me that SHE needed to do her own lipstick. She went to the bathroom and got her little hand mirror from nursery to put the lipstick on all by herself. After she finished, I got the "mom, look I did it just like a princess."Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-66503263394697812022010-05-24T19:45:00.001-07:002010-05-24T19:47:25.377-07:00Do I have the cutest kids or what?<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7MZYUOQDBPiidTYo__yg0_ztcNPwYT3V7wTxjsp3SI7-pimz_UQKdSxJEhRoJQF5amA7F7dR9ZX5G-Q3F8tKlJbjn0CAoA99mCE42ZGQAXA3Db9IzLCe1fXBNGHJ-axTaxxqdAAIJh91l/s200/photo(6).jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5475033733882864978" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkUGMXpx-l20hqh07HTTAUqkvw9AuFDtZ7gnPCBInr6jCdfCwE55TTg3Nn8hM5LGlUeRuss4gRxUOv5w2wfG-sHXkhUEIGrPTQwpbt4fTkLEay1O9gA-0dpWXv2jWO6KX_JHc3FppoMBgt/s200/photo(4).jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5475033729145661650" />
These are some cute pics of the kids the last few weeks... man they are cute.Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-80189244733344445172010-05-24T19:41:00.000-07:002010-05-24T19:45:06.432-07:00The Ballerina<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguXz5caSYlKBpTI0Q4-t1AfSh7SjTKtlYr9U-3K_juf4iT11elPzj_fpywPbjy8mYJ41f1NleNXjbc1QTkWUlBdgvjb9vxAnFaOKtlCoJJdEZiHq_xsZnxSm8AwShsoaQata3BqBrAl4ha/s200/photo(5).jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5475033081109603602" />
In January, Kadee starting taking ballet. We promised her that if she did well in school that she could pick an activity. She held up her end of the bargain and so did we. She picked ballet. She has done so well and made alot of new little friends in her class. She has her big recital on the 13th of June. She got her costume for it not too long ago and this is a picture of her on picture night at the dance studio. A lot new has happened and i (Danny) will try to sum it all up for you.

1- Jen is feeling much better. No residual signs of her headaches or passing out. She is the best wife and mother ever. We might be ready to paint the pilot with all of her driving (yellow with some back checkers) No one is more excited for our move to logan than jen. everyday more and more clients are calling to ask if they can be squeezed into the days she is planning on working. she called the salon last week and was assured that a spot would be made available for her when she wants it. i guess she is also the best hair stylist ever. she has been having a great time with the kids and watching them grow up into little people. She still looks as good as the day i met her and i love er more now than ever. i don't know how to explain it but the world is just better because she is in it. everything that is going on with the rest of the family is in short because of jen in one way or another (everything positive at least). <img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC09eKrbwiLlMHeK0mGsLzWxc9wBkzju7Tq3kN8EsvjtClOtLXVcp3CLkuRIKZuZhvcXha3VnigJ3vWMwh6RGQrK1uuKxPMyFpCAlFeeuCpPUs0ysPQCvX5RsSkPKLnGGxgk3gnwz1VJSw/s200/24785_331191833465_714228465_3476561_1738113_n.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473762315862207122" />

2- Lilly is almost the size of a small car. Kidding of course but her growth is out of control, as is she with her crawling and looks soon to be walking. As parents we are extremely bias, but we're pretty sure as with our other children she is pretty advanced. We have had some ear infection problems and after the fourth consecutive trip to the doctor and round of antibiotics we were begging for tubes (we just needed some sleep for gripes sakes.) Finally we were referred to an ENT that told us her ears were clear after the last round of antibiotics and that Lilly was to little to just do them but for sure if she gets another ear infection to jsut bring her in and they would schedule the procedure. Well we are nut sure if that scared Lilly to health, or if Heavenly Father knew we couldn't afford a procedure or what but since then clear ears and happy child...until...the two bottom teeth decided to visit. Those little bastards are sharp and they are just sitting at the doorstep making our lives miserable. we cans ee them and they look to be almost through so we are sitting with our fingers crossed and earplugs in hoping that any day now they will be through and Lilly will return to normal.
On a slightly funnier note Lilly tried to scale the garbage can and the 'wall' tipped on top of her. luckily our light bin did not allow here to get too high so it was more scare than hurt but it was scary then a bit funny to walk into her lying underneath the can with "am i dying" fear on her face was pretty cute then came the tears. Well that about does it for Lilly.
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiW0_f0VY4leX1UD0GWxIsIRcndj9NOEKC9PiRQbMcs3F6zHUho50gW-5FtBKt0OPKx8SBw-O8RdLw7aY5uTpldf_T7e5IcultoY4eUPh1Udf1O6yxaGeoyrGu1H-ARkHAPsxHQyU3-mpuU/s200/lilly+stand.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473043390013816018" />
Lilly likes to stand on my hand.

3- Kambrie is living the dream. Wake up, someone gets me breakfast, play, someone gets me lunch, play, someone gets me dinner, play, bath (which someone does for me), and bed. how nice would it be. Kam is great and doing well. she is getting so big. she can now peddle her bike all the way to Nana and Pappa's without complaining or stopping which for those little legs and her melodramatic tendencies is HUGE!!! We are hoping to get rid of the training wheels this summer. her eating habits are improving but we are going to visit the dentist next week for some serious work, tow caps and some fillings. The dentist has officially warned us of snack grazing and juice. we have fixed that problem and amped up our daily oral hygiene regiment, we still brush twice daily and floss but we have added a rinse with water ofter every meal and if she is going to have a drink not at a meal it is water and and if a snack she eats it and is done, no walking around with it and grazing for hours. Man does she do some funny things. There is nothing really specific that she does...she is jsut funny and cute. watching her run is a joy...she has to crouch down, load up her shoulders and lean forward to get started and you think by the effort she puts into it she is going into warp speed but then she begins to run and there is more effort moving her up and down than forward, you really have to see it to appreciate the cartoonish nature.
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3jf06LmhUCAObESX28fyuE6M6X0jKtkVvw1ucmPQzpZFh3kvaTkbC2jsNXyeYUJVFMpPEMmPIECVbBjkHdZNv6eL57VethoYnc7RtY6GJ13ejlpwfzUXG5Qf6A3XO4UT1Gz0BKzAXu5wX/s200/Kam+read+the+paper.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473043388369710610" />
Jen walked in on Kam 'reading the paper' upon asking what she was doing kam replied 'I can't read!' with a smile and laugh.

4- Kadee is finishing up the first grade and that little squirt can read. not just 'see me run' but a real book, real sentences and some difficult words. now as adults if we want to say something that we don't want her to hear we have to spell it so fast that either we misspell it or the other person can't process it fast enough so we end up having to wait till after bedtime (by then we have usually forgotten) or we have to leave the room to pass on the information. So far the most exciting things, as far as we can tell, were the treats she got to bring for her birthday and her field trip to wheeler farm. man was she excited to go to the farm. i think she was more excited to bring a lunch, and not any old lunch a brown paper sack. Jen offered to pack her lunch in the super cute princess tin lunchbox that she got at the beginning of the year but kadee held out for the brown paper sack because she wanted somehting that 'i can through in the garbage can when i'm done!' i don't know if it's right to teach our children to create waste but it sure was fun helping her get excited about the brown sack.
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg00pYEvJ7KFvcKoePol5ScUGagfo87-vIcBgjJsXu95ZhFO8Wz2t2H2sP643ApFkNUAmOKtfQt0XNib4or__-OiQOILp_HKRtuDb0zax6H-yFyH79kAdnfrs8nDvb-6Sk_Ryohg2kf3mj9/s200/27077_342264143465_714228465_3513798_1675033_n.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473043379904336466" />
Dr. Suess day at school kadee was cindy lou, and i think she is a bit cuter than the original.

5- I (Danny) got accepted to USU and am doing pretty well in school. we move to Logan on the june 19th weekend. but classes start on the 14th of june so a long commute for the first week. we are all excited to open this new chapter of our lives and education. i am looking for an internship or co-op that has in the field of engineering and has insurance (I WANT OUT OF SMITH'S) so if anyone has any ideas...?
i also got punched last week and got three stitches. some shoplifters tried to get away with some smokes (10's of cartons) and so i gave chase and caught the slower one (hey i never said i was fast and where do you think Kam gets it from) but while wrestling the slower one into submission (which i did) the faster one sucker punched me in the face from behind without me knowing he was there. I got my three stitches out yesterday as well as a notice that the one that i caught is looking at a felony robbery charge and possibly prison time. Yeah eat that SUCKA!!! I mean like life and death different. After I had the EEG on the last post they didn't find any irregularities with the test. And I even had two episodes while they were doing the test. The second one I almost passed out... So, if it was seizures, they definitely would have shown. After they got the results to that they told me that they think I am suffering from Migraines with Aura and that they could possibly be hormone induced. I told them that I had just had a baby four months ago, then started back on birth control pills and switched after one month to another... cheaper kind. Big mistake I guess. The thing that makes me the most crazy about all of this is that one of the very first things I did when all of this was really starting to become a problem was call my gyno and ask if by any chance it could be the new birth control I was on. I got an absolutely not... and was sent to an internist. Anyhow, at the hospital they gave me the meds for the migraines in my IV and it completely knocked me out. I had passed out 2 more times that morning. After the drugs I slept for about 3 hours... when I woke up I felt a TON better. I had no headache anymore. My arms didn't feel and tingly and weak. I felt like I was a little unsteady but absolutely NOTHING like I was going to pass out. I told the DR and they told me that they would send me home with a prescription for it. I asked if I could go home and they told me I could get dressed. YAHOO! So, when we got home I put my birth control pills in the garbage and started to take my new meds every night and viola... today I feel better than I have for a year. A few days ago I looked up migraines with aura. The symptoms are straight down the line of what I have been experiencing. Dizziness or lightheaded... sometimes loosing consciousness. Numbness or tingly feeling in an extremity. Loss of vision or blurry vision. Stiff neck. Waking up feeling like you have been "hit by a train". Trouble speaking, slurred speech or not being able to say the words you are trying to say. A headache that only lasts 10-20 minutes. Yep, straight down the line. ALL of the things I have been complaining about everyday for MONTHS! It even said that some people experience hallucinations. Man am I glad it didn't get to that point for me. I feel so incredibly blessed that the DR listened to me... looked at the possibilities and figured it out. The thing on the internet said you can only imagine how scary these symptoms would be for someone experiencing them for the first time. Hello.... yes, very scary. I am so thankful for a husband that didn't think I was crazy and supported me through all of this mess. I feel so lucky to be one of the people that get to find out what is causing me to feel like crap everyday and that there is something I can take and something I can stop putting in my body to make me feel like a normal functioning person again. When we were in the ER the doctor told me many times that 50% of people that suffer from syncope, fainting, we never know the cause of. Hello... not a thing you should tell someone that has fainted 5 times in about 12 hours. How in the world could you ever be a mom or wife. I would have to have someone not only watch me all the time but take care of my kids. I feels so blessed. This week is going to be so much better than last and it will only continue to get better. I for one am scared to death to ever do any kind of birth control again... man, I had NO idea that hormones could screw your body up to that extent! I actually heard that they can be deadly... scary.... and so lucky!

In the blessing my husband gave me he told me there was reason to be concerned, but not to be afraid. He was so right. I am so thankful to have a wonderful husband who holds and honors his priesthood and can give me a blessing when I need it. It brings SO much comfort and strength.

Health is something I have definitely taken for granted. I feel so lucky to be healthy and happy and well.Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com12tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-9146776827856405842010-01-13T08:47:00.000-08:002010-01-13T09:13:51.559-08:00THE ERno not the tv show. Jen has been sick (dizzy spells and fatigue) for several months now. the S#$@* really hit the fan yesterday when she fainted. then she fainted again. and then we went to the ER and she fainted again, again, and again, and then once more this morning.
lets start at the beginning, many know that the reason Jen was induced with lilly was becasue she fainted while being observed for preeclampsia. then, after the baby she was ok for about a month and then started having dizzy spells, at the time she had a bilateral earinfection (both sides) so we chalked it up to that. but two rounds of antibiotics and still dizzy she went to an ENT who said her ears were good and no inner ear problems. then the episodes seemed to get worse and she statrted to loose balance during the bad ones, so and internest sent us to a cardiologist and a holtermoniter for 24 hrs. after a normal EKG and a normal echo cardiogram the results of the holter moniter they have 'confidently outruled a cardio problem.' that was monday (Jan 11.)
then tuesday (yesterday) happened. after a couple of good EKG's and a couple of fainting spells we finally got a neurologist to come and do a work up. nothing...so the kept us overnight in the observation unit. we are now waiting for the EEG test, this because they think they might be small seizures. but if she doesn't have an 'episode' while the test is being done then they can't tell what it is that is causing it but they will be able to tell if between episodes her brain waves are normal so again unless they 'catch' one we are no better than when we started.

on a far unrelated side note. last night i had a premade spicey italian sandwich that was awesome...until i woke up with the worst stomach cramps ever, seriously thought while asleep in the ER they did experimental surgery to impregnate me with a full term baby to give birth today. but a little pepto and some time i am good now. i guess italians use the fear of cramps to lower stress levels so they don't combine spicy sandwiches and stress.

we are going to be fine we feel that the drs are really trying to help us so we will keep you up to date.Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-92033065704211274482009-12-22T15:32:00.000-08:002009-12-22T15:39:42.075-08:00THE TANK<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjh38RFml98lgqa6kf0VYVEEZKY_L2YJuMNaHLkrbFTiAb8SneY4ihA2zZa7DlbYeN5qCC4xXew8fJdEZmJEaP_OyjjV8FBl76GYHYkV6gqIYFyMoiWLnzj_3ejEC5_cy-hasGHNgI-BNRB/s200/photo.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5418209361503494194" />
Well as father of three beautiful girls i have decided to build a tank for my children. Yes you read correctly a TANK!!! Luckily a family (the McQueens) have an old powerwheels that they are 'done' with and they donated it to the cause so i have motors, an axle, a battery and half the electronics for the machine. i will keep the blog updated of progress. i hope to be finished ASAP or at least before the semester break ends. here is a picture of the dismantled powerwheels, kind of ironic that i am tearing apart a barbie jeep to build a tank for three girls. oh well they have a lot of pink stuff already and the could use some masculine stuff.Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-196756956927263032009-10-29T15:14:00.000-07:002009-10-29T15:46:07.069-07:00Halloween Parade<img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; (i am sick and tired of material science and need a break, plus it needs to be done.) well, lilly is doing great her last dr. visit she had gained a pound and a half up to 7lb 12oz. she sleeps pretty well for a newborn sometimes up to 5 hours at night. Jen is the best mom that has ever existed. not only is she a great mom she is the best wife anyone could ask for. while i am spending 10-12 hours a day on campus, she is taking care of three kids(a six yr old, 3 yr old, and a three week old) and she still manages to look like a million bucks when i get home to a hot dinner. hands down she would kill even june cleaver in a mom/wife off competition. kadee is doing reall well in the first grade and loves it. Jen helps her with her homework everyday after school. kambrie has started preschool (tuesdays and thursdays 9:30-12) and loves that she gets to go to school too. we are not sure if she likes school more or the fact that she gets to eat lunch there, which is amazing to us becasue she is still struggling with the eating thing at home. so is short we are doing really well. love my wife, love my kids, and hey i even started spelling my name correctly which is always a plus.
lets all be nice and then we get treats.Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-32008521040796530152009-09-22T16:55:00.000-07:002009-09-22T16:57:25.680-07:00just can't get enough of my little lady<img style="display:block; She weighed in at 6lbs 4 oz. She is a tiny little thing and absolutely PERFECT! She has auburn hair and TONS of it. She has the longest fingers with totally manicured long nails, and the biggest feet and longest toes I have EVER seen on such a little thing. Definitely got that from her mom. She came out with a pouty bottom lip, just like Kambrie. She was so worth all of the puking, crying, sleepless nights, peeing, complaining, contractions, worry and uncomfortableness. I am totally in love with her. I feel so incredibly blessed.

On Friday the 11, we went to the dr for the second time in two days because he wanted to monitor my high blood pressure. When we got there on Friday morning, it was even higher than Wednesday and there was also protein in my urine, another sign of pre eclampsia. I had been having major vision issues since Saturday and frankly I was starting to get a little worried. When I heard the words of "bed rest" come out of the mouth of my OB... I burst into tears. Good heck, I was 38 weeks pregnant.. had been sent to the hospital I don't know how many times, and I was just ready to get this show on the road and get on with our lives. After telling him, I had two other children to take care of and it wasn't going to happen, and bawling my eyes out... he decided to call the high risk ob and get her opinion on the situation. She said, if she has protein, high blood pressure, vision issues, and is 38 weeks pregnant tomorrow, just get this over for her. INDUCE THAT WOMAN!!!
I was so grateful. Danny and I left for home to get all of our bags and drop Kam off to Nana. When we got to the hospital and checked in the nurse said to me, "You are here to be monitored for blood pressure and possibly be admitted correct?" I just looked at her and said, "I am NOT leaving, just so ya know." They all started laughing, but I was DEAD serious. Anyhow, they put us in our own room, which was good sign #1. We got all settled and they started to monitor me. Around 2:30, my bp reading was about 142/90 and then the next one it dropped to 99/55. Then the room started to spin and I knew I was about to loose what I had eaten for dinner the night before. Then... lights out. The next thing I knew, I was surrounded by nurses and being poked and prodded. They told me I just sealed the deal... I was not leaving without a baby.
That night at 10 pm they started cervadil and I started having contractions about 2 am. At 8 am they started pitocin. At noon I was in tears with pain. I asked for my epidural and he was in a c section so I had to wait almost an hour and a half... don't wait til you are at that point to ask for one... When I finally got it, man I was LOVING life. My dr broke my water and I progressed from a 2 to 7 by 4pm and to complete by 7 pm. We got my dr there and I was able to get ready to have her. I was so scared about the pushing part, having never done it before. On the first contraction all I remember was pushing with everything I had in me. The dr looked up and said, if you want any one else in here... they better come. This baby will be born on the next contraction... I WAS FLOORED!!!
All my family came in, which actually ended up being an awesome experience, and on contraction #2 Lilly was here. Three pushes... I couldn't believe it. It was so surreal and amazing.
I am so proud to be the wife of the most amazing man. He could not have been more supportive and more of a rock to me through all of this. He is the perfect person not only for me, but for the father of our 3 beautiful kids.
I am the most blessed woman and mother there is.Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com10tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-51109882181429818542009-08-27T16:37:00.000-07:002009-08-27T16:50:02.578-07:00Kadee Lou is in the 1st grade!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht2Oea5h2znDctN0MBlbreMGbl909lXWb5Ip3a14Aw2O-j4EkjXYL9J3Wo-Nvxot2qCSvmvlWSmT8rT4bkWxO39DhU8aJNfdOqz4XrlwXr2wYrvS4k8V_sYoqaFU9O8Que96F2HU38Uebv/s200/IMG_0046.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374793678515984194" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEIao9r2fwzPjHcc8EZnM3sY_FyPJ2hhSH4-yVe-L3RcKJXaSLibhbqZ6gUN4-XTt6ttH6KE5CKT8hy4PNuugDvMWC2eSQvk5dPrrZIbgISx7U6YgYEtMBPf7LpA7iHmyiFTeysWSW9lMn/s200/IMG_0044.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374793665071174338" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisAnsfiv8IEFVCIpyxhqroj6poufJIr7_ZbVNv5Dxkqzd3ixfhn57O-MFneYeSCSktwhG29zsPy6MG9qyaahTedYmY44XlYlPeoxO4a8JH2JoT-Sv0vW4UUdrVBQm3e1NnAD5uIxCDwaWX/s200/IMG_0043.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374793651752090114" />
Tuesday night we had back to school night. When we got our packet and headed towards Kadee's classroom I started to think, man, I can not believe she will be in school all day long. Is she really old enough for that?!? Well, it really hit when we walked into her classroom and met her teacher, Mrs. Loveless, and she showed Kadee where her desk would be. It is on the front row on the very end... and she even had a name tag on her desk. At that point, honestly, I was choking back the tears. It just seems unreal. Anyhow, today was the big day... last night she was so excited, she got back out of bed 3 times to ask me something about in the morning before school. It was so cute. This morning we had set our alarm at 7:20 to get her up and she was down to get us at 6:40... bed already made and all. She had that backpack on and ready to walk out the door at 8:15... we can't be there until 8:40. :) It was pretty cute. We all went to the school to drop her off and I stayed in the car with Kam while Danny walked her inside the fence. She just looked so big, yet too small, walking away towards the school for the WHOLE day! Danny got back in the car and was pretty quiet for a second. "do you think she will be ok? How sad. I just hope she has a good first day." It was so cute. I think it hit him pretty hard that his little girl is growing up. He missed all of that last year with being at work, so it was a whole new experience for him to drive away and leave her there. She came home today EXHAUSTED!!! She loved her first day, and her teacher and she even made a new best friend, although she can't remember her name... but she has stitches in her head. She thought the best part of the day was the lunch room... although I think she mostly visited cause she came back home with half of her lunch still in her lunch box... she was starving though, definitely got eaten when she walked through the door. I think that we won't have any problems crashing tonight and sleeping until she is woken up tomorrow morning by us. Congrats Kadee! We are so proud of you!Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-1522924477113628382009-08-27T16:31:00.000-07:002009-08-27T16:36:22.900-07:00Weekly appt for baby LillianSo, I went to the DR on Wednesday morning for my weekly appt. He said that the baby is looking good although my belly is measuring a week behind, still at 35 weeks. Which is where it has been for the last almost 2 weeks... humm... I have gained 2 lbs though so I know she is growing. He also checked me, now that we know the placenta has moved that is ok to do, and he said that despite being up all night Tuesday contracting every 7 minutes, there is no dialation. My cervix has started to soften though. Anyhow, he said that really she can come at anytime. I was still contracting while I was there and he told me that when they get to 5 minutes, to take myself to L and D! HELLO!!! I am going to do EVERYTHING in the book to get this business going! If I wasn't contracting so regularly I would not be so anxious but honestly, I can NOT do this for almost 4 weeks still. Last night and today has been much of the same. Contracting and timing... not turning into anything too much though. If anyone has any good tricks... We had so much fun! We planned a party at the bowery at the church. We had a big blow up.. jumpy thingy.. with a water slide. We also made a big slip and slide and had a little pool for the tiny tots. Danny's mom and dad have a cotton candy machine and we did the candy cannon as well. Needless to say, we wore the kids out and got them high on sugar. Pretty sure everyone must have had a major crash when they got home.. I know our girls did! Thanks to Danny and all the set up... not to mention covered HEAD TO TOE in cotton candy everyone had a blast! Happy birthday sister sue! We Love YOU!

Somehow amid all the excitement I forgot to take the camera to the party... when I get the pics from Stacey I will post them. The last few days this baby girl has definitely done the BIG drop! She is laying about 3 1/2 to 4 inches lower than she was before. I am LOVING the fact that I can finally breathe again, but I have traded that luxury for some SERIOUS lower back pain. All day on Tuesday, I was having contractions. In the morning in lasted about an hour and a half and continued off and on all day. The worst part of it was that I was not only feeling it in my belly, but the worst was in my lower back! YIKES! Since I was working all day, sure that didn't help the situation a ton. Then, yesterday morning, when I got up to get ready to go to the doctor, I had some blood going on... so all things combined, I was a little nervous. When we got to the dr. he was shocked at how far she had dropped so fast. Also, he checked my cervix to make sure that was not where the blood had come from... which it wasn't, so good news there. He set up my ultrasound for today. When we went I was a little nervous and anxious to see what we would find out. We found out that Lilly weighs about 5lbs 5 oz.. which is about 60% of the average for this point. Some things she measured ahead of schedule... so I guess we will see what the dr has to say about that. I also was worried that she was still a girl, for the fact that her room looks like it has been hosed down in Peptobismal. From the pic up top, you can tell... FOR SURE A GIRL!!! She has the right parts! They also saw that her head was so far down, they couldn't see anything... they did a vag ultrasound to check the placenta, which her head was laying on my cervix, much to the techs surprise. She looked at the placenta by blood flow and said, it would be the dr's call... Still close, but not sure how close. Little Lilly has grown a ton. I can NOT believe how much bigger she is. She is DEFINITELY out of room in there. We did get a great look at her little face and she looks like she has chubby cheeks and Grandma Gwen and Aunt Stacey's chin. She is a cute little fart. Anyhow, I go to the doctor around the 25 again, and if the placenta hasn't moved enough, will be scheduling the C section for that next week! CRAZY!!! I can not believe it is here so soon... Let's just hope that all of these contractions and her dropping so low onto my cervix doesn't send me into labor before hand!Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-61088295865397152032009-08-06T17:34:00.001-07:002009-08-06T17:46:05.792-07:00Yeah for new!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbaTBYhntZZZJERSAFaVN8NM29u5ytH_zE4RMqlMXDilAbuy-VX1ywjSpm0xlUF60L6LfLsX1aggoVggD5VacXcQxFx_GA86PBzBTryFUIZqKkxBqhOmZT9hfeY_DgCbde422Nwtt-NQC5/s200/Photo-0003.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5367016164682350162" />
So, this has to be one of the best days ever! My husband bought me a new washer and dryer and I LOVE them! When we got married, we took an old washer from Danny's parents basement and he bought a used, commercial, dryer on KSL. Well, honestly they did the job... but, at an expense. The washer worked pretty well, but it sounded like a jet engine was taking off in the basement when it went into spin cycle. The dryer, well it SUCKED!! All it did was heat the clothes up to the max and toss them around. When it was done, the buzz was deafening and lasted about 1 minute. When you would take the clothes out of the dryer, you would get burned by the buttons or snaps on anything you touched... and they smelled just plain HOT! Can I tell you that I am pleased as punch with the new ones. The washer wonderful.. and I have already done 4 loads today. It has a glass lid and Danny and I have been entranced today watching it wash without the agitator. It is all digital... so now I am like, oh they have 15 more minutes... and I can come back down. The two best things about the dryer... it can tell if the clothes are still damp and will automatically adjust the time and it also has a setting that if I am not right here to take them out when they are done, it will keep fluffing them every 3 minutes for 45 seconds so they don't wrinkle. I LOVE THEM!!! Thank you baby for making your wife one happy lady. I promise we will still buy you a laptop... THANK YOU for spending what you had for that, on me and two black appliances. I love you!Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-81677571696055420562009-07-30T22:19:00.000-07:002009-07-30T22:33:14.737-07:00Daddy Do's<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqKuTMzpvp2IB-7oxqV-mHz9KSMFS_lOIcJxznvFomYL7xwMFrKGU6xpz6RVWyQOuDeLjjNpX_Qnpm8oJX86uJy7Ar5v8NsqjHtrzJKNyvGxdFeGyZ-5mXaID0v_hvUxiwDwPctfQjP62l/s200/Photo-0002.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364492854717200962" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFk7yyfKdqdN7WdCniQyfFAGdjB7QZVHM03I6W4N11NXc6xoxN5x7aldT1zwwjcfohnArlgi44FHtsozWCs4JLrwzkztUeLV6RO2QQMLXqET-59jGGXOmD0VU1sSB2DXvWOANEHkm6EJS4/s200/Photo-0001.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364491465782103810" />
So, when I met Danny, he was a single dad of two little girls. Along with that title he had to do the unimaginable for two little ones every day... their hair. Now, for most men, this would pose a serious problem, but for my Danny, when he is determined to do something, he will find a way to do it AWESOME!!! I got to the point that I was pretty impressed with his creativity. Now, don't get me wrong, there were no bows, curls or ribbons... nothing girly by any means. But this man can do some serious elastic work. So, yesterday afternoon he told me that he wanted to try to french braid Kadee's hair in the front... like a headband. I told him, kudos for wanting to try. If you don't know, I tried to be taught how to french braid for 3 solid days in beauty school... DID NOT WORK!! I can not do it for the life of me. So, when he said he wanted to try... I told him to have at it. Today after swimming lessons, he gave it his best shot. About 40 minutes later... he actually did a pretty good job. I was definitely impressed. Best part about the whole thing, the tongue, sticking out the ENTIRE time he braided. I finally had to come down and do some laundry... had the giggles to bad. We still had gift certificates to the theatres in Park City, so we decided to ask my mom and dad to keep the girls while we went on a little date... The movie was awesome and then we grabbed some dinner at Cafe Rio. Between the tub of popcorn I inhaled and the mexican food, I was sufferin from some serious gut ache... but TOTALLY worth it! The girls had a blast hanging out with Grandma Terry. She took them to the barn to see the kittens, on the four wheeler, they got treats at Rafter B, and hung out with Grandma Gwen. We picked them back up at 9:30 and about 2 minutes into the car ride back to SLC, they were totally out! Great movie, Great date, and Great parents for keeping the girls! Thanks a bunch!

Just have to share a quick story about the girls and those kittens... a few weeks ago I went to stay the night while Danny was at father and sons... I am allergic to cats so we never have to get one... YEAH!!! Anyhow, the girls adore cats, especially kittens. Farmer Don,aka Uncle Don, just had a bunch of new kittens. Mom and I took the girls over to see them. They could have stayed for hours but in about 10 minutes I had snot all over the place. When we got back to my mom's house, Kadee looked at me and said, "Jen, when you die, we are totally getting a cat." LOL... LOL... Still LOL!Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-3069295595784246122009-07-30T22:03:00.000-07:002009-07-30T22:09:15.664-07:00Two little fishys!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjYuLzwSyXToXiFDtB6lwyUy3RYarmhTHcG1E66HL6x6C0GRRgSWtcEzaBrxqBrr0tct0KedLkLG81fGZb2eDrnGva9MaFB04ph8A9Rw8qy5sYbGhvPxlaM3O2RsBhaF06_Ork73Lo9QTP/s200/IMG_0020.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364486940268672274" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-FbqsG4RoIpEtOO029-hJhuNxzMVLB5petfiy92pwjtn4qv_EbJNOyZL1h0EIUetzA-kHyZFRj3vsOh4jSzrPx72bL4BPHx3V0fvzJEih7l1ldHhcKy3y4SdTHIe_loHZ4ULXCWl7yuOG/s200/IMG_0017.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364486939446952082" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCL8DSfX2zTZ-loZ0mpkSxOUckNdxLNfbOWJfbDFX3qoGPmHCceAzEIKZpmQ7yDPJzn4lIelHGVc20nULkSJ47r15w8pWrW1RRp7pYL37lY7X23dHN4xPXBTfpiJDsd6rw0B0C7oC7mreT/s200/IMG_0013.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364486929061892786" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwVsJaQkfIFbpw0w5ehTtMsmsZujDrB4z3KPL1PGVinUSnTATtF1LyZjfR6c4U-RufKIRjvaSG-79M-gnn9Ij6T509FQHQbZnKxEABe1AaJSPOtOrzBs0e1r74z7MU3l7XXckqWr_yce6I/s200/IMG_0011.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364486921894806402" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoNJ1AXUqr8WWwrq9oiQz_KIDUXVssCEejzT5_e7DVI0SZSV54znP4gIe2FRD8FEZM-_Zvn8l8qkFHJ4ECRTdec1ZLrjcKzMFoM5Dhz8DzM813_YyjoR12_4X-7mgCEwtAW6nQMGbKkSSY/s200/IMG_0009.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364486914811304418" />
Well, today was the last day of swimming lessons... they did awesome! I am so proud of both of the girls. They were so brave! We went from Kadee not daring to jump off the side of the pool to her diving down, with NO life jacket to get a stick out of the water... we also went from Kam being totally attached to the life jacket and not letting you take your hands off of her to her with no life jacket, swimming and putting her head under... she even jumped off the side to the teacher without the life jacket. Man, what two little girls will dare do in 2 weeks with no parents in the water. It was such a good thing for them. Today they wanted to take a little treat to their teachers so last night we made cookies and cards for them. They loved their lessons and can NOT wait for next summer.
Kam still prayed for her teacher today when she blessed the food at lunch...Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-72165597666423549962009-07-28T18:00:00.000-07:002009-07-28T18:08:14.340-07:008 months pregnant<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhc623AR3KZUdDBJ_Op42KYIRysGr2WCBa2mYGr0b5mY1-el5aVYJ25myp1lirlnPrfruxglkZH0YYI4Z8xdwrd86LBOOp_bd9k3xtNsebjs2eyj7D0PPCTYs996Xh6nIE4qDNOm9VUemfS/s200/101_0004.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363681128150317282" />
View from the top now, getting bigger and bigger... can't see to shave very good now.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrtnsjjtaz9NCXkH3eRgtagd_hvh_kw7X-xp_a3FCNFXI10Ee32s0PgyjaVDtnajIE_8MnyO-NJ1Liqn0kAxvU2CmossLdQ-bYp_29BEr8MuxclaNqXcXg7mg9iVzTI6wTWnF5D_Z2eW-s/s200/101_0001.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363681119371024930" />
Side view of the belly now. She is defiantly growing. Can't believe that she will be here so soon.

I also went to the doctor on Monday for just another check up. He told me that when I go in 2 weeks, at 34 weeks, he will schedule my last ultrasound that week. That will be the deciding factor if this placenta has moved or not. If so, 6 weeks to go after that, if not, I will only have 3 weeks! How crazy is that to think that we could have a baby here is 5 weeks from now. He also told me that he thinks baby Lilly weighs about 4 pounds right now. I held Cassie's baby Ella yesterday, one of the triplets. She weighs 4.2 pounds. It was so crazy to think that this is the exact size of the little peanut inside of me! It was surreal. It is coming, this last 5 months has definitely gone ALOT faster than the first 5 months!Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8251301928103627616.post-34245738864845742652009-07-12T15:59:00.000-07:002009-07-12T16:10:57.604-07:00The long awaited addition to our family is here!Well it has been a LONG summer. We have been waiting and waiting and waiting. We have taken good care of her. We have watched her grow and grow. We had taken all the steps that we thought we needed to make her good and ready when it was time. Thursday July 9Th was the long awaited day. We knew the night before that this would be the day she would be done doing what she was doing... and let me tell you she was perfect! She was SO worth the wait! The girls loved the anticipation! That is right people, we picked and ate our first tomato of the season and man was she great!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixO3ZLDbzI7QprOM72beJwWTofkrb_LP_KX3au45ArhUJWVhcGN9iFgEttauWinCPHjPP4SOPCEbg0HNDqEqJk5lAHMRxX41daeh0W6aAz4y4Oo__vN0IsKYHihqqKkMAwQ6BfX2HGspxn/s200/IMG_1539.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5357713312134144242" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhL6SErJAG-mzmCHr7mN32E4xAJq9M-jFMlfOfeC2wVpSaNXCJY8O0y7hM3OBq689NvidnzVKaMomtMehBO0ld6C0SE9_ET3pZY0w3BjP2Ivw0lmQ9fa4g4GaaHzPxMit8rxhqlj11NFIit/s200/IMG_1538.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5357713307451869810" />Danny, Jen, Kadee, Kambrie and Lillianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07491642256082202179noreply@blogger.com4
